- Starbucks’ new drinkware line for fall includes a few cups and tumblers specifically designed for Halloween lovers.
- One new addition is an updated take on the coffee chain’s “spiked” cup, which features a spooky black iridescent facade, available exclusively at Target.
- Another Halloween tumbler features a glow-in-the-dark feature with spiderweb-like designs and skull motifs, also at Target. A representative says more Halloween-themed merchandise will land in Starbucks’ cafés later this month.
It’s not even October yet, but fall is in full swing at Starbucks — everyone’s favorite coffee giant is already dishing out plenty of fall treats (hello PSL and pumpkin bread!) and has even set up a new hotline to celebrate the season (fall lovers can’t miss it: 833-438-3255). But diehard Starbucks fans are still waiting for one important new arrival in their local cafés: New seasonal drinkware, including the chain’s Halloween tumblers and themed merchandise (which make for great gifts!). And new Instagram posts and tips from eagle-eyed coffee aficionados suggests the wait is finally over.
A representative for Starbucks tells Good Housekeeping that a new Halloween glow-in-the-dark tumbler is already on shelves at cafés located within Target across the country. It’s available in two different sizes, starting at $12.95, and is accompanied by a few other items, including another cup that has social media users buzzing. It’s also expected that more Halloween drinkware will land in traditional Starbucks’ cafés before the end of the month.

Our friends at Delish have already reported that Starbucks’ customers have spotted some of the chains’ new fall 2020 drinkware collection. There are two travel mugs sporting a spider web-like design, whereas two other travel mugs are dressed in eye-catching florals and paisleys. There’s also a gold and pink ombré thermos that can double as a water bottle. Plus, Instagram account @grangvillemarket teased a new set of 6 Halloween-themed 16oz. reusable cups with glow-in-the-dark lids, each equipped with a fun seasonal tagline. Starbucks tells us that this 6-pack set retails for $14.95, and its availability may vary by location.
Many shoppers, however, are most excited for Starbucks’ latest interpretation of their “spiked” tumbler coffee cup, which is black and adorned with an iridescent shimmer, different from other matte black cups we’ve seen before.

This sinisterly cool design has already been slowly released over the last month, and the Dark Bling Cold Cup has been released to Target stores with Starbucks locations exclusively across the nation. It holds 16 ounces of coffee or tea and comes with a reusable plastic straw. While Starbucks has yet to officially confirm all details surrounding its newest collection, there are sellers already offering up the new Bling cup to eager collectors online. But it’s not the only new tumbler that Starbucks will release for Halloween.

A new glow-in-the-dark Hallow Mix Cold Cup is also available at select Target locations this month, and users like @raindrop_resell have already purchased this unique buy. This Halloween cup is covered in a black and white design scheme that features birds, the moon, and Jack-o’-Lantern-like skulls, plus a chilling purple lid to cap it all off. And like every other seasonal release, this glow-in-the-dark feature isn’t expected to stick around, which is why many shoppers are actively on the hunt.
Of course, Starbucks is selling these cups at a time when reusable cups and tumblers aren’t being used in stores. Per new guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic, baristas won’t be able to refill these glow-in-the-dark tumblers to avoid any risk; but they’ll still give you the 10 cent discount if you happen to bring one in with you. You’ll still be able to go into cafés and buy merchandise, though, so be sure to don a mask and find a store that’s currently open to foot traffic in order to buy a Halloween tumbler this year.
