One of the greatest things about Star Wars is that, with a storyline that spans movies, TV shows, books, comics and more, there’s a whole galaxy of Star Wars Halloween costume ideas to draw from. And the newest TV series on Disney+, Ahsoka, seems perfectly timed for costume inspiration. Not only do we have a bunch of new characters who have only been seen in animated form before, they all have really cool looks, from Hera’s green lekku to Sabine’s awesomely colored hair.
Here are some of the best Ahsoka costume ideas for 2023. You can try to DIY the clothing aspects of their looks — the robes, the bomber jackets, the cool pants — but, since most of them are creature-related, some are probably just easier to buy. Bring along your favorite lothcat, grab one of these outfits, and you’re good to go into hyperspace.

Ahsoka Tano
With her striped montrals, Ahsoka Tano’s look is really distinct. It’s also … kind of a lot, at least when it comes to Halloween costumes, that is. The good news is you can be as elaborate or as low-key as you like — the stripes are a dead giveaway as to who you are. You can either go with full Ahsoka regalia, or go with just a headpiece-and-hoodie look.
Sabine Wren
In the first episode of Ahsoka, Sabine has long, flowing two-tone hair that would be the envy of any Halloween party. But in the second episode … she cuts it! No! Why?! The makeover does give you options, though: You can go with her Episode 1 long-hair-and-bomber-jacket look, which you can dress up with a rebel patch on the shoulder, or the full Mandalorian armor, with or without the matching helmet.
Hera Syndulla
Not just a pilot, but a general, Hera is both strong and wise — at least when it comes to wrangling Ahsoka and Sabine. Her green lekku are her signature, sticking out of her aviator’s helmet with goggles. You can get her full getup, or, if you have a bomber jacket with a fur collar and some orange/yellow pants, you can try to DIY. Extra points for her general patch, which looks like a die with five dots.
Shin Hati
What about getting some of the bad guys into the mix? If you’re feeling the dark side, the obvious choices are Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati. Both make the most of a set of dark robes — but it’s the intimidating stare that really sells the look. For our money, Shin is the more recognizable character, due to her short, light hair and heavy, dark eyeliner, plus that red lightsaber.
Grand Admiral Thrawn
Speaking of bad guys, the newest villain on the block is another compelling choice of Halloween costume. We like it because it doesn’t revolve around those old Star Wars staples — black robes, red lightsabers. (No offense, Shin fans. Those looks are classic for a reason.) Instead, with his crisp, white uniform, Thrawn stands out. There’s something else that sets him apart, too. What could it be? Oh yeah, his skin is completely blue.
Force-Ghost Anakin Skywalker
Or you could go with being a reformed bad guy. Ahsoka’s former Jedi master, Anakin Skywalker — the Skyguy to her Snips — does make an appearance in the series. Is he a dream? Is he a force ghost? Does it matter? But in order to be the Ahsoka-era Anakin, specifically, you need to get him in his Jedi outfit. And maybe some glitter will add a ghostly effect?
